My Story

I began my photography journey over ten years ago when I was in school! I purchased my first film camera in college and truly started falling in love with it. I primarily used film for over three years before I took the plunge and purchased my first professional DLSR. I never put it down. I was photographing and editing constantly, spending all my free time doing something that brought me so much joy! Eventually, my friends and family took notice and began to ask if I could take images of them for their needs. It spiraled from there. Haha! I began to put my heart and soul into it, and worked incredibly hard every single day and night. Nearly eleven years later, this is far more than a full-time job for me—it’s a passion and a huge part of who I am.

Because of photography and years of work, I’ve been able to travel all over the USA, Hawaii and Alaska, China, Japan, India, Nepal, France, Italy, Ireland, Scotland, England, Mexico, Canada, Bahamas, and South America. I’ve been published in a handful of magazines and publications, my images have been on five book covers, and I’ve created a life from my passion. I can’t imagine doing anything else in the entire world.

I’m so grateful for the opportunity to meet so many amazing people and capture important memories in their history. It’s truly so fulfilling to be able to give people such a treasured gift.
