Styled Shoot at a Museum

I want my photography to feel like art, so what better way to combine them? We photographed these two bridal dresses in a beautiful art museum in a small town in Utah. I had the opportunity to work with old friends, and made new friends in the wedding industry. We all came together to bring this session to life.

I focused on the multiple different lighting scenarios that presented throughout the building, which stretched my creativity to play with what was provided instead of adding anything else. Playing with light has always been a fast track to accessing creative energy because for as long as I can remember, I've always been so fascinated with how light impacts every object on earth. As well as light, I played with motion blur to really nail down what type of tone I wanted the images to have. Doing styled shoots like this every once in a while keeps the joy within creativity thriving. Happy to have talented friends to work with!
