My ability to adapt to any situation or person allows clients to feel trust and comfort while being photographed. Being keenly aware of what is needed in every moment is priceless on a wedding day. I work best under pressure, am highly aware at all times, and am trauma-informed. Read more on my about page.

I provide direction when needed, give space for candid moments to unfold naturally, and move quickly while intentionally maintaining a calm environment. I gently guide the day in accordance to each client's preferences, building trust so they know I have things handled so that they can feel regulated and present to create life-long memories.

Connection leads to comfort, comfort leads to safety, safety leads to trust. Hiring someone to capture your most precious memories requires trust. They'll be next to you your entire day and will impact your experience greatly. Additionally, you want someone you feel safe enough with to be fully yourself and openly vulnerable.

I specialize in "awkward"! My job is to ensure clients feel comfortable, seen, and accurately reflected. Everyone is unique, so my approach is too. I keep things flowing and feeling natural. I avoid positions that they wouldn't normally put their bodies in, clothing they don't feel good in, and directions that make them feel like they're performing.

My entire family and I, and nearly 70% of my clients are neurodivergent, so it's natural to me. We keep things comfortable. I flow with the energy of the session, balance offering direction, and can pivot quickly and quietly. Experience over pictures! There's more communication, reassurance, and regulation as it's important clients don't feel they must perform or mask. The goal is to capture them exactly as they are.

Wholeheartedly, enthusiastically have been my entire life. I'm honored to be one of Utah's leading LGBTQ+ wedding photographers. Fundamentally, wedding photography honors human connection which means recognizing every love as valid. Being welcomed into these spaces is a privilege, and I'm committed to protecting environments where LGBTQ+ and BIPOC clients feel secure and respected.

I'm an editorial and documentary photographer for those who want poetic imagery, intentional experiences, and honest, candid story-telling. I do more than capture spontaneous moments--I choose intentional ones that artfully build my client's memories into visual stories.

My edits are true-to-color, film inspired, and timeless. I naturally gravitate towards my moody, low-light work, but every image requires it's own unique edit. I ensure that they feel reflective of how that moment felt. I want my clients to be able to re-experience what we created together.

I'm so proud to say that I've been photographing full time for fifteen years now, ten of which it's been my only job. I've photographed over 500+ weddings over the course of my career, traveled to over 20 countries and 28 states, and have been teaching others to do the same for almost a decade now. It's been the greatest honor of my life!

My clients' experience is the foundation to my every decision and why I fiercely protect their ability to stay present. If I'm to preserve your memories, I must create an environment calm enough for awareness. Memory is tied to emotion and regulation, and when rushed, being present is impossible. So, I create intentional stillness and natural flow so you'll relive your wedding day emotions when looking at your images on your tenth anniversary.

I consider it my mission to prevent them as much as possible, and I'm almost always successful. If not, I thrive under pressure. After 15 years, there's not much I haven't seen. I can de-escalate and re-regulate well, problem solve quickly, and pivot immediately, if necessary. Whatever happens, my responsibility is to protect your experience first, and every decision I make is with that as my priority.

I'm extremely proficient in low-light. Not only do I know exactly what to do in any dimly lit scenario, I excel here. Low-light, moody photography is my favorite type of work, and one that took me years upon years to perfect. I am experienced and equipped for any lighting scenario we may run into on any session.

Timeline structuring is included so your day is intentional, flexible, and centered around what matters to you. Strict timelines aren't a problem, as I can shoot a lot of great content in a very small amount of time. However, I never want the day to be rushed or rigid as it's disruptive to being present. If timeliness is important to you, I collaborate with vendors to prioritize it. Certain moments require structure (ceremony or dinner) but others can flow organically around them. I balance organization with presence to protect your experience above all else.

Every wedding is different, so the final edited total will vary! I don't cap images. I take out the duplicates or missed focus shots, etc., and deliver the rest. It's your day and your memories, and I try to give as much of that back to you as possible! I provide an online gallery link so you have each digital, high res file on any device.

Contractually, I give myself 90 days for weddings and 60 days for sessions. It almost never takes this long, but I never break my commitments to clients. I give myself a large cushion of time in case of any type of unexpected event or emergency, because life happens. I am never bothered if any client checks in for an update at anytime.

I think I finally found the perfect system: I have a Synology, which put simply, is a collection of hard drives (100TB worth) that work together to complete a RAID system. This means it actually mirrors my data across multiple drives, so in the case of drive failure, no information is lost. Additionally, I keep all edited images in an online catalog. I have never lost any client images in my 15 years of being a photographer.

In my 15 year career, I've never missed a wedding. It'd take an extreme circumstance to prevent me from being there. I'd probably have to be dead. That said, I'm prepared with trained associate photographers. I’ve also built strong relationships with respected photographers both in Utah and around the world for this reason. I take my job incredibly seriously and do everything in my power to protect my client's and their wedding day.

Prints are available a la carte! By request, I include free additional edits on any image printed through me. You can order through your online gallery and have prints shipped directly to your door. I partner with some of the nation's best print companies, so the quality is unmatched.

I don't offer videography services at this time. Instead, I have a small list of wonderful wedding and elopement videographers with many years of experience that I highly recommend. Most all of them also can and do travel regularly, and we've traveled together in the past for weddings and elopements!

Simple: the kids run the shoot. We go their pace, we follow their lead, and we do what they want to do. It's so much more enjoyable when parents aren't stressing about getting "perfect" pictures, and instead, let it feel like a family experience. Keeping a regulated environment is the most important thing to having a calm and memorable session.

Always. This is your session, your memories! I love to coordinate with clients to create a vision you're excited for. If you have a Pinterest or mood board, feel free to share with me so I can see what type of imagery draws your eye. While I cannot guarantee exact replicas to any specific photos, I am more than happy to try!

I live in Utah, and 70% of my work requires traveling! I find myself often wandering the west coast with my camera. From Washington state and Seattle area, to all over Portland, Oregon to the very bottom of California. I travel anywhere and everywhere for photography, and in fact, feel that traveling to new places with new experiences often inspires my best work.

Extensive. I've been building elopement experiences for a decade! Elopements with me feel like someone is walking through the process with you from beginning to end. The day is designed intentionally, personally, and stays centered on what actually matters to you. I help with location ideas, timeline planning, backup plans, logistics, and all the little details that make the day feel easy, and fully yours.

While I have pre-built packages, many weddings and elopements need customized structuring and pricing. Therefore, I have quite a large range available. For weddings, I'd say many client's average around $3500 - $6500+. For elopements, the range is closer to $2,000 - $4,500+. Check out my pricing page for more.

Most family sessions are straight forward and fit into three different packages, depending on what they are wanting included. Most clients fall within the $400 - $650 range. Extended families can range anywhere from $800 - $1600. I do offer $350 mini sessions throughout each year and announce those on my social media. See more details on my pricing page

1. Do you own and bring back-up equipment to each wedding? Absolutely.
2. Do you use two memory cards when photographing anything? Every time.
3. What is your back-up and storage system like? I answer that here!
4. How do you respond to conflict or high-pressure situations? See below.

I absolutely do. I am insured, and am happy to provide a certificate of insurance (COI) for any vendor or venue that may need it. The asking vendor can reach out to me to request a copy and I can handle all communication with them so it doesn't become my client's responsibility.

I absolutely do! I have an extremely talented list of photographers that are my typical "go-to's". They are people I've worked with for a decade now! While not often, if I hire outside of that, I require an extensive interview process so that I'm extremely aware of who I'm hiring. I highly recommend having a second photographer--more photos, more memories, more moments captured, and more help on the wedding day.

All I need is a signed contract and the retainer paid, and we're good to go! Once you reach out, we'll chat about what you're envisioning and wanting, narrow down the right package for you, and make it official. Then comes the fun part: styling, planning, and shooting!

I thrive in high pressure situations--15 years as a wedding photographer will do that. I'm as cool as a cucumber. Having worked in customer service positions my whole life, I've earned the skill of de-escalation in any type of conflict. I have complete trust in myself to prevent problems, or resolve them quickly. Because of this, others trust me too.
